Virginia Beach Friends School 7th Annual Golf Classic

Virginia Beach Friends School is a nonprofit independent pre-K though 12th grade school, fully accredited by the Virginia Association of Independent Schools, a member of the National Association of Independent Schools, and The Friends Council on Education.

Virginia Beach Friends School focuses on developing each student's ability to apply knowledge, solve problems, and use critical thinking skills to achieve higher levels of understanding and intellectual growth. We believe the educational process requires the integration of mind, body, and spirit. We integrate academic achievement with physical, social, emotional and spiritual development to teach the whole child. From pre-Kindergarten to Upper School graduation, our students are engaged with their teachers, friends and with the larger community around them.

11:00 a.m. Registration Opens

12:00 p.m. Range Balls Available

12:50 p.m. Team Meeting

1:00 p.m. Shotgun Start

5:00 p.m. Children's Activities

5:30 p.m. Dinner, Music, Door Prizes

Families are welcome to join us for dinner and entertainment.

Tournament Play:

Florida Best Ball

Early Registration Fee: $125 per golfer or $400 per team (before 4/20/2012).

Late Registration Fee: $150 per golfer or $500 per team (after 4/20/2012).

Includes: 18 holes of golf with cart, unlimited range balls prior to tournament, prizes in 3 flights, lunch provided by Atlanta Bread Company, PLUS dinner, entertainment, and more!

Guest Dinners

Early Registration Guest Dinner Fee: $20.00, Children 3 and Under are Free (before 4/27/2012).

Late Registration Guest Dinner Fee:  $20.00, Children 3 and Under are Free (before 4/27/2012).

The Golf Classic, organized by parent volunteers, is the school's largest fundraising event. Proceeds are used to supplement the capital and educational programs at the school.
